A banner is read from further away than anyone designing it expects. The pieces in this gallery are built for that distance - large type, high contrast, and one message that survives being seen from across a road.
Material decides how long it lasts
Flex, vinyl and fabric behave differently in sun and rain, and the right choice depends on whether the banner is up for a weekend or a season. A banner specified for indoor use and hung outdoors will fade, and it was not cheaper.
Finishing matters as much: eyelets, pockets and hems decide whether it survives the mounting, and they are chosen for how it will actually be fixed.
Sizes and where they go
Shop frontages, dealer counters, event backdrops, site boards and exhibition stands each want different proportions. Tell us the frame or the space before design starts - artwork built for the media always reads better than artwork resized into it.
