Packshots
A packshot is the picture every other piece of collateral depends on. Shoot it once, properly, and the catalogue, the leaflet, the poster and the e-commerce listing all get easier.
Why in-house packshots matter
When photography and printing sit in the same building, the shot is lit and retouched for how it will print rather than for how it looks on a screen. Highlights that blow out on press get held; colours that cannot be reproduced in process inks get flagged before anyone approves them.
That is a quieter advantage than it sounds, and it is the reason packs in a catalogue look like the packs on the shelf.
One shoot, many uses
A pack photographed properly serves the catalogue, the price list, the dealer material, the e-commerce listing and the campaign artwork. Photographing the same pack repeatedly for different pieces is a common and avoidable cost.
What to send us
The physical packs - all the SKUs and sizes you want covered - and a list of where the images will be used. That determines the angles and the resolution rather than guessing at both.
